All our suppliers like to enjoy some wedding fun too!
This weekend we had our First Annual Networking Event. It was designed to bring everyone together to build excellent working relationships, a way of getting to know each other within this Industry and to enable us to work together, in creating you the Perfect French Wedding.
It was also a day for learning and keeping up to date with ways of reaching out to you, our Brides.
Our day started out with a welcome coffee and warm up by the open fire, at the stunning Chateau De Lisse. Our team stayed at the Chateau, the night before to prepare and set up for this wonderful day. Plus to make sure the wine was good enough for tasting the next day.
We had Paddy Flavin our Finance Director open the day with his housekeeping tips and plan of the day. Followed by the knowledgeable Phil Wilson our Brides in France Marketing Specialist.
Phil was our guest speaker who designed a Marketing and Branding Seminar. This was found to be extremely useful to all our suppliers and as questions were thrown around the room, we all worked together in answering them.
After Phil's informative presentation, we all headed off to the Salle de Danse where we were treated to the delightful launch of The Candy Stripes. I have to say, I was so impressed with their wide repertoire in this Harmonious swing style.
Now with so much energy we all wondered back to the Dining hall for a Kir Royale aperitif. We enjoyed the warmest succulent Beef bourguignon, the Chateaux finest French Cuisine. With a cosy atmosphere of new found friends, there was a lovely ambience and musician Alex Crowe played his piano pieces for us all to listen to.
After a while of networking and browsing at some of our suppliers work we went into the Salle de Degustation for some wine tasting, to try the Chateau De Lisse's own wine that has been produced since the 14th Century. As I thought many bottles were sold and suppliers stocked up for Christmas.
Then it was time for all to meet with myself Emma to find out what the New Year 2016 has in store for Brides in France.
I did a presentation on Wedding Trends for next year and shared our statistics whilst John Willett our social media manager explained his role and answered questions about social media.
By then we were all ready to carry on and mingle.
Coffee followed by a second set from The Candy Stripes, A selection of music by The Fake Racoons and some Photobooth fun with George at Photobooths France. At the end of the day comments were given that:
"Everyone needs a George".
Fun and dancing was had by all and we even danced the Locomotion Conga lead by Celebrant Claudia Bowden.
Luckily for us we had the amazing Chris Nemes at Zen Film Works filming our event to capture these memorable moments. We can't wait to share this with you soon.
We also had a superb group shot by Isabelle Bazin in one of her famous hearts.
Such Fun !!
The day had come to a close about 6.00 and all tired after travelling and suppliers left to drive home or catch flights.
Here at Brides in France we would like to thank all of you who came along and for your time. We too had such a fun day and are already coming up with ideas for next year.
A special Thank you to Joanne Braham the manager and wedding Planner at Chateau de Lisse, for being an amazing host and for all your help and your staff on the day. We couldn't have asked for a better hostess.
Thank you to Phil Wilson and Paddy Flavin for your time and seminars and to John Willett for all your social media work.
George Handzopaulos for the fab Photobooth fun and to all our guests and musician's.
We would like to wish you all a prosperous new year.
