Paris is the capital city of France, said to be the city of lovers…the most romantic place on earth, and French is the language of love. With so much love around, what a great place to tie the knot and honeymoon.
Situated on the river Seine in northern France, a crossroads between land and river trade routes has made it one of the principal cities of Europe.
Stroll along its breezy boulevards, gaze upon impressive monuments, ogle at great works of art, and savour its gourmet selection of cheese, chocolate, wine and seafood. The city is alive with numerous cultural events and during the warm and lazy summers, you can tour its many museums by day and roadside cafes by evening.
Coming and going
Paris has two main airports Orly and Charles de Gaulle, both lie a fair distance outside town, but transportation to both us extensive. Paris also has six major train stations all connected by the metro underground system. The Eurostar arrives at the Gare do Nord, which is located in the heart of the city. This beautiful station is ideally placed for easy access to some of the city's most appealing attractions.
